HVAC-Focused Maintenance Technician with Admin Experience We’re seeking a skilled HVAC Maintenance Technician with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC systems and general facility maintenance. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong mechanical ability with a working knowledge of administrative processes. You’ll dedicate approximately 70% of your time to HVAC and mechanical maintenance and 30% to supporting administrative tasks , helping us maintain a comfortable, safe, and efficient environment for our team. Key Responsibilities HVAC & Maintenance (70%) Perform regular maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on HVAC systems (both mechanical and electronic components) Troubleshoot heating, cooling, ventilation, and air quality issues in a commercial / industrial facility Monitor and adjust building automation controls related to climate and ventilation Support and improve preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC and related building systems Conduct general facility upkeep, including equipment and infrastructure maintenance Maintain compliance with safety codes and HVAC industry standards Administrative (30%) Maintain detailed logs and reports of HVAC maintenance, inspections, and repairs Use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting, inventory control, and internal communication Navigate work order systems to track requests and completion timelines Help manage inventory of HVAC parts and request supplies as needed Qualifications 2-3 years of HVAC or mechanical maintenance experience (commercial or industrial preferred) Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components (refrigeration, ductwork, controls, etc.) Mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose technical issues independently Proficiency with computers and digital record-keeping OSHA 10 General Industry and First Aid Certification are a plus Comfortable working at heights and in varied environmental conditions Team-oriented with strong communication skills and attention to detail Work Environment & Physical Requirements Active role in a fast-paced commercial or industrial setting Ability to lift, move, and work with tools and equipment Work split between facility floor and office for documentation If you’re an HVAC professional ready to take the next step and value both technical work and organized systems, we’d love to hear from you. today and bring your HVAC expertise to our growing team. a job alert for this search Maintenance Technician • Greensboro, NC
