Maintenance Technician The Alexander Company 1700 Fairview Street, Greensboro, NC 27405 Job description Join Our Team as a Maintenance Technician! The Alexander Company is currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position will be responsible for 217 unites in our historical apartment community, the Printworks Mill Apartments. If you have at least 2 years of hands-on experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general construction repairs we want to hear from you! Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to : Performing and/or facilitating all general and preventative maintenance for the property including mechanical systems, common areas (interior and exterior) and apartment units. Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly inspections of all areas of the Property. Unit turn-over tasks including drywall repairs, appliance repairs, lighting and plumbing repairs. Upkeep of the property grounds. General custodial duties as needed. Maintain supply inventories for regularly used parts and products. Completion of work-orders as assigned in a timely manner. Completion of regular maintenance plans and schedules. Answering after hours emergency calls and responding appropriately. Other duties as required and directed by the Property Manager.

Applicants must:

Have reliable transportation to and from the property. Be physically able to climb a ladder & stairs Be physically able to lift 50 pounds Communicate via email, text, or phone with vendors, residents and staff.
