2nd Shift 3:00 PM – 1:30
AM Location:
High Point, NC Position Scope Responsible for maintaining and repairing CNC machinery to ensure optimal production performance, equipment reliability, and manufacturing quality. This role plays a vital part in minimizing downtime and supporting continuous improvement efforts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair CNC equipment, addressing both mechanical and electrical issues promptly to minimize production interruptions. Diagnose and service key machine components including hydraulics, gears, bearings, and mechanical assemblies. Perform advanced electrical diagnostics and repairs on systems ranging from 120-480 VAC, DC circuits, relay logic, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and servo motors. Utilize diagnostic tools such as multimeters and amp meters to conduct in-depth troubleshooting and performance analysis. Interpret and work from detailed electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics. Execute preventive maintenance routines including lubrication, equipment inspections, and general cleaning to extend machine lifespan and ensure safe operation. Operate independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of accuracy and accountability. Comply with all safety procedures, regulations, and company policies at all times. Participate in and support continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing equipment efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications Required:
Hands-on experience in CNC machine maintenance (on-the-job training available for motivated candidates).
Preferred:
Familiarity with CNC control systems such as Fanuc and Siemens. Core Competencies Ability to adapt to change and accept constructive feedback.
