Full Job Description About Us:

Courtyard by Marriott – High Point is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team in High Point, NC. This person will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all equipment in a commercial building.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and repair locks, locking mechanisms, closers, doors, and controllers . Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows, etc.) Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) Other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry, etc.)

Requirements:

A minimum of an Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience is required. Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must be able to follow instructions and recognize problems with equipment or its operation. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team environment. Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more. Must be able to work in all weather conditions and outdoors. Must be able to travel when necessary to different locations.
