Facilities Maintenance Technician Blue Ridge Bootleg Coffee Roastery & Cafe 503 Harbor Ridge Drive, Tuckasegee, NC 28783 Facilities Maintenance Technician Full-Time | $21/hour Position Overview The Facilities Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring Bear Lake Reserve facilities operate smoothly, safely, and look their best. This position supports the facility through a wide range of maintenance and repair duties, preventing issues before they escalate and maintaining a welcoming environment for owners, guests, and staff.

Reporting Structure Reports to:

Director of Maintenance, Club Director, THG Executive Team & Developer Collaborates with: Club Director, THG Executive Team and Developer to regularly to plan daily, weekly, and monthly tasks, projects, and maintenance priorities. Daily Responsibilities Attend daily meetings with Facilities Director to review assignments and priorities Keep Asana updated with progress of daily tasks . Maintain pool systems during operating months (Certified Pool Operators only), following all regulatory standards. Address all assigned maintenance requests promptly according to priority and skill set. Core Maintenance Duties Perform routine building repairs: Fix structural damage (windows, doors, walls) Repair plumbing leaks and broken fixtures Troubleshoot and fix electrical wiring issues (if applicable) Maintain HVAC systems for effective climate control Apply preventative measures (e.g., roof sealants) Repair and paint building surfaces to maintain appearance and protection Conduct landscaping, hauling, and general grounds upkeep. Identify and mitigate safety hazards to ensure a safe environment. Projects and Growth Assignments Complete weekly projects to develop skills and meet departmental goals. Participate in larger monthly property-wide improvement projects as assigned by management. Additional Duties Maintain clean, organized work areas and vehicles. Maintain Certified Pool Operator certification if applicable. Communicate respectfully and courteously with owners, guests, and staff. Exhibit flexibility and assist with various tasks as requested by management, regardless of department. Work Schedule Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM Rotating Weekends Shifts of 8-12 hours as required
