Role:
InterState Outdoor is looking for a hands-on, multi-skilled Billboard Construction Technician to join our operations team. This hybrid position is ideal for someone with experience operating heavy equipment, welding structural materials, and handling basic electrical work—especially for outdoor signage and lighting systems. We’re open to candidates who specialize in one of the three areas and are willing to learn the third.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate heavy equipment for billboard installation Transport materials and equipment (Class C CDL preferred or willing to obtain) Perform MIG and stick welding on structural steel and aluminum Assist with electrical wiring and lighting on digital and static billboard units Troubleshoot and repair billboard components in the field Maintain a safe and efficient job site
Qualifications:
Experience in at least one of the following: heavy equipment operation, welding, or electrical work Class C CDL or willingness to obtain (company can assist with certification) Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in all weather Ability to read blueprints and work independently or as part of a crew Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday Compensation:
