Job Description:
Facilities Maintenance Team Member Reports to: Director of Facilities Education and/or Experience High School diploma or GED required. Post-secondary vocational/ technical training in electrical or HVAC is desirable. One-year maintenance experience in an institutional or business setting. Job Knowledge, Core Competencies, and Expectations Basic knowledge of trades to understand repair problems and make minor repairs. General knowledge of power tools. General maintenance person skills. Knowledge of and ability to perform required role during emergency situations. Job Summary (Essential Functions) Maintain club’s facility, property, and address various member property requests. Job Tasks/Duties Maintains and makes general repairs to the plumbing fixtures, furniture, woodwork, electrical systems, appliances, ventilation systems, and building structures of the club. Maintains the air conditioning, refrigerators, ice makers, and pool pumps. Supervises the filtration and chlorination of swimming pool, tests swimming pool water, and maintains daily log of water test results for local health department inspections. Performs routine preventive maintenance (PM) required by the Club’s PM procedures. Installs tile, drywall; makes grouting repairs, and patches walls. Attends departmental staff meetings. Completes other appropriate assignments made by the Director of Facilities Physical Requirement and Work Environment Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position. Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping and pulling.
