Description of Work •This is a readvertisement. All previous applicants MUST reapply to be considered. •The Senator Bob Martin Eastern Agricultural Center is a multi-use complex. It is comprised of 9 buildings, 6 outdoor rings, parking areas for over 3,000 vehicles and 100 RV sites. This position will provide services in general upkeep on all buildings and equipment. REQUIRED

to qualify for this position. We will not review resumes in lieu of the Experience and Education listed on the application. To qualify for this position, applicants must document on the application that they possess ALL of the following: Knowledge of the principles and techniques of a variety of trades.
Skills to operate general lawn maintenance equipment and hand tools.
Ability to tolerate hot and cold temperatures as most of the work is outside.
Ability to perform heavy physical tasks for extended period of time.

MANAGEMENT PREFERENCES

Willingness to work towards obtaining a NC Pesticide Applicators License Minimum Education and Experience Requirements You may qualify by an equivalent combination of education and experience, either through years of education or years of directly related experience, or a combination of both. High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma or a sufficient year-for-year combination of education and experience associated with a variety of mechanical or building trades; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Necessary Special Qualification:

May require current certification by the Environmental Protection
