The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and be proficient in various building techniques. This role involves working on diverse projects, including residential and commercial structures, where attention to detail and craftsmanship are paramount. The Builder will collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Duties Construction trade skills such as, framing, finished carpentry, deck building are essential for the successful execution of projects. Install drywall, ensuring smooth finishes and proper alignment. Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks. A keen eye for detail and precise measurement skills, thereby ensuring that project requirements are fulfilled. Operate heavy equipment as needed for site preparation and material transport. Engage in trim carpentry, crafting detailed moldings, casings, and other finish work. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Requirements Proven experience in construction or building trades with a focus on relevant skills such as framing, roofing, drywall installation, finished carpentry, deck building, power tools usage, schematics interpretation, heavy equipment operation, and fabrication. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks effectively. Fluent in English Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, along with a dedication to cultivating a secure work environment, is essential. Proficiency in analyzing and mitigating construction site safety concerns is a must.
