Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking dedicated maintenance technicians for our night shift (6-6) and day shift (6-6) to support our facility. Ideal candidates will have a solid FDA background or related field experience. The role involves maintaining various bakery equipment, including mixing equipment, conveyor systems, ovens, heating elements, extruders, and packaging equipment. Technicians will perform preventative maintenance and ensure machines do not break down. In the event of a breakdown, they will quickly and safely repair the equipment according to blueprint specifications and electrical schematics. Preference will be given to candidates with a stronger electrical background due to current headcount requirements. Responsibilities Maintain and repair bakery equipment, including mixing equipment, conveyor systems, ovens, heating elements, extruders, and packaging equipment. Perform preventative maintenance to ensure machines do not break down. Quickly and safely repair equipment according to blueprint specifications and electrical schematics in the event of a breakdown. Follow FDA regulations and ensure compliance. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues. Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, North Carolina. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 – $35.00/hr.
