Maintenance Technician 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars Charlotte, NC 28208 Overview We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team at our consolidated rental car facility. This role is key to ensuring the reliable operation, safety, and efficiency of carwash, detailing, and general facility systems. The ideal candidate is proactive, mechanically inclined, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same Duties Perform and log scheduled preventive maintenance on carwash, detailing bays, and other facility systems Troubleshoot equipment issues and recommend/perform appropriate repairs Assist with minor repairs and upkeep of systems such as: Electrical Plumbing Doors & gate systems HVAC Vacuum & conveyance systems Security gates Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work performed Report key data points and updates to the Carwash Program Manager Maintain high standards of operational reliability and help drive efficiency improvements Keep work areas clean and organized, including tool and inventory areas Manage onsite parts inventory using maintenance software Respond to urgent and after-hours maintenance needs as required Participate in up-to-date industry training programs Build and maintain strong working relationships with team members, tenants, and facility staff Stay informed on new industry trends, technologies, and best practices Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards Attend team meetings and actively contribute when requested Perform additional duties as assigned Skills Previous maintenance experience preferred (facility or equipment maintenance) Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems Familiarity with CMMS or willingness to learn Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical tasks as required Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Willingness to work occasional after-hours or emergency shifts Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset Join us as a Maintenance Technician where your expertise will contribute significantly to maintaining our facilities’ operational excellence. #
