Competitive, based on experience Venture Rentals LLC (venturerentalsapts.com) is looking for a skilled and versatile General Maintenance Technician to join our team. We manage a variety of residential and multi-family properties in the Charlotte area, and we are seeking a dedicated professional to perform routine maintenance and repair tasks. This role is essential to ensuring our properties remain safe, functional, and comfortable for tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs. Conduct routine inspections of buildings and equipment to identify and address maintenance needs. Respond to maintenance requests from property managers and tenants, ensuring timely and efficient completion. Repair doors, windows, floors, and other structural components as needed. Maintain and repair appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, and washers/dryers. Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems to minimize future repairs. Perform drywall repairs, painting, and minor carpentry tasks. Assist in preparing units for new tenants, including minor renovations, painting, and cleaning. Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and future maintenance needs. Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes and safety standards.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a General Maintenance Technician or similar role in residential and/or multi-family properties. Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair. Ability to troubleshoot and fix issues quickly and efficiently across a variety of building systems. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for interacting with property managers and tenants. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with multi-family properties. Familiarity with HVAC systems and general plumbing repairs. Knowledge of safety standards and building codes.
