Maintenance Technician Ready to Hire Biscoe, NC 27209 Overview We are seeking new Maintenance Technicians to join a foundry that builds parts for major companies like Ford, GM, Caterpillar, and more. As a Maintenance Technician, you will work closely with experts to learn the craft. No experience is required, as training will be provided if selected for the position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various systems within our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to ensuring that all equipment and systems are operating efficiently. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with other team members to uphold safety standards and enhance the overall functionality of the property. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure machinery and equipment are operating efficiently Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime Diagnose machine malfunctions and operating issues Perform minor electrical maintenance Replace motors, switches, and fuses Support higher-level machine repairers by adjusting and rebuilding Qualifications Ability to pass a physical examination and drug screening Strong communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with a team Basic computer skills and access to the internet for training purposes Open and excited about learning new skills Join our team as a Maintenance Technician where your skills will contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment.
