Custodial Maintenance Technician Provision Ace Hardware 445 Capital Drive, Carthage, NC 28327 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment in our retail store. This role requires a proactive approach to facilities maintenance, custodial duties, and the ability to perform various cleaning tasks efficiently. Duties Perform custodial tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness in all areas. Conduct commercial cleaning duties such as dusting surfaces, sanitizing restrooms, and emptying trash bins. Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition and properly stored. Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management promptly for resolution. Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance are met. Qualifications Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices and procedures is a plus. Skills in painting and general maintenance tasks are highly desirable. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
