Job Description
Maintenance Technician Sandhills Community Action Program, Inc. 700 Jackson Terrace, Carthage, NC 28327 What You’ll Do Perform general maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC) Respond to tenant service requests and complete work orders in a timely manner Turn over vacant units – including cleaning, painting, and minor renovations Maintain building safety and curb appeal (common areas, grounds, etc.) Ensure timely documentation of repairs and inventory Be on-call for after-hours emergencies What We’re Looking For ✅ 3+ years of general maintenance experience (apartment/multi-unit preferred) ✅ Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs ✅ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation ✅ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor ✅ Strong communication and problem-solving skills ✅ Must pass a background check and drug screening Bonus if you have: HVAC certification Experience with HUD or affordable housing programs Section 3 eligible?
