Responsibilities Must adhere to Shell Island Handbook and Standard Operating Procedures Arrive at scheduled time, ready to work, well-groomed, dressed in uniform . Adhere to daily schedules and checklists to complete job thoroughly Assist in diagnosis and repair of HVAC, refrigeration, electrical and plumbing systems Assist in diagnosis and repair of all hotel equipment including but not limited to commercial kitchen, commercial laundry, ice machines, and commercial plumbing fixtures Service two swimming pools and one hot tub Assist in diagnosis and repair of pool equipment issues Maintain and repair building exterior including but not limited to paint, siding, roofing, landscaping, railings, and decking Respond in courteous manner to all guest questions, complaints, and/or requests to ensure strong guest satisfaction Exposure to extreme temperatures Operation of heavy machinery, and operation of power tools Be able to life 80 pounds regularly Be able to stay on feet all day and climb stairs Ability to work from ladders, scaffolds and lifts Able to reach, crouch, bend and kneel Perform any other job related duties as assigned Educating and Training State pool certifications, preferred not required Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Certificates/licensing, preferred not required Experience Experience in industrial, hospitality, institutional, or construction related maintenance and punch out.
