About Us:

We operate two well-maintained self-storage facilities in Jacksonville, North Carolina, and we’re hiring a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team full-time. If you take pride in keeping things clean, safe, and running smoothly, this is steady work with a local operator that values consistency and initiative.

What You’ll Do:

You’ll be responsible for maintaining the property and supporting operations at both Jacksonville locations.

General Maintenance Tasks:

Perform daily property inspections to ensure safety and integrity Handle general repairs and preventative maintenance Clean and prepare storage units for new rentals Remove trash or leftover items from vacated units Maintain landscaping and assist with pest control Lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs as needed Storage-Specific Tasks (Training Provided): Execute lien procedures, including lock cuts and overlocks Photograph units for upcoming auctions Complete hasp and door repairs Meet and direct vendors for service calls Assist with special projects or seasonal maintenance

What We’re Looking For:

Clean background and driving record (required) Reliable vehicle for hauling tools or materials (truck preferred) Comfortable using a smartphone and working independently Able to work outdoors in various conditions Familiarity with Microsoft Teams or willing to learn

Position Details:

Full-time:

40 hours/week

Pay:

$17/hour

Schedule:
