The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain various systems within our facilities. This role requires expertise in fabrication, welding, and electrical systems, along with familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and logic controllers. The Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and facilities, contributing to overall efficiency and safety. Responsibilities Fabricate and weld components as needed for maintenance and repair tasks. Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance. Utilize CMMS for tracking maintenance activities, inventory management, and scheduling repairs. Work with logic controllers to diagnose issues and implement solutions effectively. Conduct routine facilities maintenance, including inspections and preventive measures. Interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot problems accurately. Perform residential painting as required to maintain facility aesthetics. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in fabrication and welding. Proficiency in using CMMS for maintenance tracking and reporting. Familiarity with logic controllers for troubleshooting electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively. Experience in facilities maintenance, including electrical work and general repairs. Knowledge of residential painting techniques is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
