Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Maintenance Technician IV to join our team. This role demands a versatile individual with advanced abilities in both mechanical and electrical disciplines. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader, with at least 10 years of equipment maintenance repair, electrical troubleshooting, and welding/fabricating experience.

Job Responsibilities Safety :

Follow all prescribed Health, Safety and Environmental laws, rules, and regulations. Complete all required safety and regulatory training as applies in a timely manner. Surveys job sites to identify potential hazards and countermeasures prior to commencing work.

Equipment :

Troubleshoot mechanical/equipment breakdowns. Act as the primary mechanic for complex repairs and document within CMMS. Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, schematics, blueprints, service manuals, and work orders to perform required work. Helps clarify concepts and provides equipment training for new colleagues. Repair, disassembles, and installs new machines using a variety of tools. Recommends and executes equipment changes to improve safety, quality, and/or uptime. Vets changes through engineering and ensures documentation is updated. Work from established procedures and/or verbal instructions.

Preventative Maintenance:

Identify opportunities for PM improvements and discusses them with Engineering and Management. Take and record measurements to allow for machine condition trend analysis. Properly enters data into CMMS. Audits lock out tag outs to ensure equipment is safe prior to work. Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions. This includes both visual and sound inspections. Look for opportunities and make recommendations.

Daily :

Work closely with maintenance colleagues and other relevant departments to coordinate maintenance activities. Maintain a neat and orderly work environment following Visual Management and 5S Standards. Respond quickly to service calls and interact with colleagues in a professional manner. Other duties as assigned due to business needs. Job Requirements BA University Degree

ME / EE/ IE OR

Associate degree ME /EE/ IE or if certification/degree OR Journeyman Status Full apprenticeship certified (4yrs) in Mechanical or Electrical trade and 10 years experience maintenance experience. OR, 12+ years of work-highly skilled maintenance experience. High level of mechanical trouble shooting skills, A dvanced skill level of electrical competencies ; Switches, Photo-eyes, cameras, PLC’s, ladder logic, VFD’s, and/or basic faults (troubleshooting). Will support multiple departments within the plant. Ability to work alone on complex jobs, follow instructions and complete assigned tasks in a reasonable timeframe. Complete, review, and audit CMMS. Writes procedures, initiates drawing changes. Investigate part substitutions and complete change management.

Physical capabilities:

Lifting up to 50#, with the ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, stretching, climbing, twisting, turning, standing, pulling, pushing, reaching, and bending. Willingness to work a flexible schedule and overtime when necessary.
