Key Responsibilities:

Preventative Maintenance:

Oversee and ensure timely and effective execution of end-of-production machinery preventative maintenance activities to reduce downtime and maximize operational efficiency.

Purchase Requisitions:

Initiate and manage purchase requisitions for necessary parts and supplies required for machine repairs and routine maintenance, ensuring stock levels are maintained for quick repairs.

• Coordination with

Technicians:

Work closely with the on-site Refrigeration Technician to coordinate daily activities, address equipment repair needs, and request parts as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Training & Development:

Train production line operators on machinery operation and maintenance best practices to enhance team proficiency and minimize machine malfunctions caused by operator error.

CMMS Management:

Utilize the Trinity CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to update and track work orders. Ensure that completed tasks are logged, and maintenance history is accurately recorded.

Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving:

Provide hands-on support for diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues, working with the team to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Safety & Compliance:

Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted following safety protocols and compliance standards to minimize risks and adhere to company policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance engineering role, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Extensive knowledge of preventative maintenance practices for industrial machinery.
• Experience with CMMS systems.
• Familiarity with refrigeration systems and the ability to coordinate maintenance activities with refrigeration technicians.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and mentor operators.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
