Park Manager Job Summary:
The Maintenance Staff at Badin Shores Resort is responsible for performing pool maintenance, water line repairs, vehicle and equipment maintenance (including logs), landscaping, cleaning, trash collection, and assisting the office on Saturday afternoons with issuing golf cart/ATV stickers and barcodes. These duties ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for homeowners, renters, and visitors.
Work Schedule:
- Friday to Sunday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with Full Time potential.
Primary Responsibilities:
1.
Pool Maintenance:
- Perform daily inspections of the pool area, including checking water chemistry, equipment functionality, and cleanliness.
- Adjust chemical levels as necessary to maintain pool safety and compliance with health standards.
- Regularly clean pool, decks, furniture, and surrounding areas.
- Document chemical usage and maintain accurate maintenance records.

Water Line Repairs:
- Inspect, diagnose, and perform repairs on water lines within the resort.
- Respond promptly to emergency water line issues and coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor.

Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance:
- Conduct routine checks and perform basic maintenance on resort vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of all vehicle and equipment maintenance activities.
- Report any major mechanical issues promptly to the Maintenance Supervisor.
4.
Landscaping:
- Maintain grounds through mowing, trimming, planting, and general landscaping activities.
- Ensure resort landscaping remains tidy, visually appealing, and safe.
5.
Cleaning:
- Ensure cleanliness of common areas, restrooms, recreational facilities, and other resort spaces.
- Perform regular sanitation tasks, including sweeping, mopping, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing facilities.
- Restock supplies in bathrooms and public areas as needed.
6.
Trash Collection and Disposal:
- Collect and dispose of trash from common areas, recreational spaces, and designated collection points throughout the resort.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of trash receptacles and disposal areas.
- Monitor and report dumpster usage and request timely service as needed.
7.
Office Assistance:
- Assist the office staff on Saturday afternoons with issuing golf cart/ATV stickers and barcodes.
- Maintain accurate records of issued stickers and barcodes.
- Verify required documentation and insurance information as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in maintenance, pool care, landscaping, or similar roles preferred.
- Knowledge of pool chemicals and safety standards preferred.
- Experience with basic plumbing and vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to safely use basic maintenance, landscaping, and cleaning equipment.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
