We provide a full range of ground aviation services, from ticketing and ground handling to cabin cleaning and cargo. ERMC also provides operations and maintenance for terminals and support facilities in some of the world’s busiest airport locations. The Conveyor Technician is the first responder to all alarms and is primarily responsible for any operational tasks required by the location. This position is responsible for repairs and maintenance of machinery, mechanical equipment, and electro-mechanical/laser recognition systems used in baggage conveyor systems and other day-to-day activities with a minimum of equipment downtime. Previous conveyor experience is preferred.

Standard qualifications:

Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Must possess a Government ID and a Social Security card. Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge. Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation. Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces. Able to receive appropriate security clearances after completing a criminal background check. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment, including motors, pneumatic devices, baggage handling systems (BHS), conveyor systems, and electro-mechanical/laser recognition systems using hand and power tools, testing instruments, and technical diagrams. Inspect, dismantle, and repair mechanical components; measure parts with precision tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to identify defects and ensure compliance with specifications. Perform adjustments, part replacements, lubrication, and preventive maintenance to keep equipment operating efficiently. Diagnose and repair electrical and control systems; monitor systems via HMI to detect and resolve issues. Conduct preventive, corrective, predictive, and emergency maintenance, including 24/7 on-call support as required. Ensure compliance with Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures and safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness of the BHS system, control room, and work area; realign baggage as necessary.
