What we need An individual with a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. Duties Conducts routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency breakdowns. Performs specific duties during both operating and non-operating hours in a timely manner. Monitors performance of equipment and informs maintenance supervisors of potential problems. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using precision measuring instruments and voltmeters. Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of projects. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist with facility upgrades, renovations, and equipment installations. Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed. Travel to plants located in Raleigh, Durham, and Wilmington Qualifications 2+ years of experience in facility maintenance or related field. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in various environments (indoors/outdoors, heights, confined spaces) Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. $20.00 – $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
