Maintenance Mechanic Position Available In Wake, North Carolina

Job Title:

Maintenance Mechanic Job Description Responsibilities Replace mat top chain, linked chain with master links, laced belts, rubber bands for rollers, and belt applications requiring specialty equipment. Replace bearings, shafts, rollers, and sprockets. Replace gearboxes and motors. Drill, tap, and thread bolt holes properly. Use concrete hammer drill with anchors to secure equipment. Utilize basic hand tools and battery-operated tools, including drills, grinders, sawzaws, impact guns, routers, wrenches, and screwdrivers. Apply grease to lubrication points properly using appropriate tools. Change out V-belts for fans and work with pulley systems supplying those fans. Work on dock plates, dock doors, and hydraulic cylinders. Perform basic plumbing, painting, and building repair work as it applies to facilities maintenance. Use tape measure to make accurate readings for take-ups on belts and for identification of distances of equipment assets. Replace seals and gaskets properly. Use torque wrenches to spec bolts, screws, etc., to proper torque.
