Looking for someone to start right away. The Restaurant Maintenance Technician will work for AM Restaurant Group , which operates two restaurant concepts across four locations, with two additional locations set to open in spring 2024. This high-energy individual will handle the general upkeep and maintenance of the restaurant group’s buildings, grounds, and equipment. The role is like that of a maintenance person at an apartment complex, but with responsibilities across multiple restaurant locations. Duties include a variety of tasks such as cleaning, light repairs, and equipment inspections, all performed in a way that minimizes disruptions to daily operations. The technician must also be available for emergencies and special events, which may require working nights or weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

General Maintenance:

o Clean and maintain vents, ceiling fans, windows, and other fixtures. o Power wash patios, sidewalks, and other outdoor areas. o Water and maintain plants, ensuring all greenery is healthy and presentable. o Perform light painting and plumbing tasks as needed. •

Equipment Maintenance:

o Inspect, order, and replace gaskets on freezers and refrigerators. o Replace broken TVs and other small appliances as required. o Conduct regular inspections of all restaurant equipment to ensure functionality and safety. •

Facilities Management:

o Identify and address maintenance needs to prevent disruptions in restaurant operations. o Ensure all tasks are completed with minimal disruption to the staff and guests. o Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Requirements:

Proven experience in general building maintenance, preferably within a restaurant or similar environment. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, and painting. HVAC experience or certification is helpful but not required. High-energy individual with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and clean environment. Flexibility to work around the restaurant’s schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and emergencies as needed. Must have a clean driving record. Ability to lift and move equipment or materials as necessary.

Hours:

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week, with flexibility for additional hours during emergencies or special events.

Compensation:

$25-$35 per hour, based on experience.
