Position Summary This position is responsible for residential and commercial pumpingand disposal of non-hazardous waste and has direct contact withWind River Environmental customers. Responsibilities includeoperating a company service truck and driving to various locationsto pump septic tanks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Follow safety rules and exercise safe work practices inaccordance with WRE and DOT requirements. Prepare for each service job to maximize efficiency (get truckready, tools, etc.) by following daily pre-trip and post-tripmaintenance (check fluids, tires, supplies) Perform customer service interaction when on work site toensure customer satisfaction Observe and note defective septic component systems, adversebuildup or hazards on the work order and provide any recommendmaintenance or service to customer Completion and submission of quote and service paperwork tomanagement in a timely manner, if required Respond to trouble/emergency calls in a timely manner Discuss and recommend adequate maintenance service frequencywith the customer Follow all Wind River Environmental service protocols Otherduties as assigned by management Work Environment You are regularly exposed outside weather conditions andnon-hazardous fumes Must be comfortable working independently Interaction with customers Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to read and interpret documents including Companypolicies and procedures, safety rules, operating and maintenanceinstructions, maps and road signs. Ability to speak, cooperate and communicate effectively withcustomers, co-workers and management. Ability to work independently and manage pressure to meetdeadlines. Basic computer literacy including email and internetskills. Ability to perform basic math functions.

Requirements:

RequiredQualifications Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable drivingrecord Must hold a Class A or B CDL with ability and willingness toobtain a tanker endorsement if requested No restrictions (must be able to drive manualtransmission) At least 21 years of age At least one year of professional commercial driving experience(post-school) Ability to successfully pass DOT drug screen, medicalcertification, physical exam and road exams Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace Must be able to meet physical demands evaluation Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable drivingrecord High-School Diploma Company Offered Benefits Competitive starting hourly rates + opportunity to earnovertime!
