RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain safety as the priority to all other responsibilities •Ensures operation of machinery (in rubber making/stamping) by completing preventative maintenance requirements on motors, hydraulics, pneumatics. Conveyor systems and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications, troubleshooting malfunctions Accurately complete all facility non-contracted preventative maintenance and repair all electric systems Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all equipment within the departments in a timely and efficient manner, perform, preventative maintenance and repairs to facility systems such as water tower and chillers, boiler and related systems and air compressors Adhere to the company’s policies, safely standards to include but not limited to LOTO, Arc Flash, electrical, fall protection, back safety, and proper lifting Perform inventories and safety inspections on all equipment and tools prior to use, perform safety inspections on facility equipment such as the fire system, fire extinguishers, exit signs etc. IAW appropriate guidance, perform Monthly and Annual Aboveground Storage Tank AST and perform maintenance as needed Must show good housekeeping skills to include 6-S standards, perform cleaning after completion of all tasks Familiar with PPE Reading electrical circuits/schematics Perform basic mechanical maintenance Must be available to work overtime, weekends or holiday hours and be on call if needed
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or equivalent is required Knowledge of basic Microsoft office and/or Computerized Maintenance Management Systems knowledge are preferred
EXPERIENCE
Must be able to communicate well with others Must be able to work in a team setting and to contribute to the team Must prioritize and be able to follow work instructions, schedule and work orders, must be able to multi-task Basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronic, plumbing and carpentry. Must be able to utilize rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments
