The Position This position has primary responsibilityfor routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment – suchHVAC, heating/hot water, pharmaceutical water and gas, and processequipment. This role will monitor and maintain site equipment andrespond to unplanned equipment issues.

According to the organizational chart Number of subordinates withdirect/indirect referral: n/a Essential Functions Performpreventive maintenance (PM) of plant Respond to and rectify alarmconditions on plant equipment Perform trouble shooting, repair andcorrective maintenance (CM) of manufacturing related equipmentDevelop and maintain a working knowledge of building and processautomation systems (BMS and PCS) Interfaces with engineering and/ormanufacturing departments to schedule work in parallel withmanufacturing operations Complete assigned PM work orders andFacilities work requests within the Computerized MaintenanceManagement System (CMMS) Ability to work well autonomously andwithin a team Perform all other duties or tasks as assignedPerforms all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant andethical manner and in accordance with all applicable healthcarelaws, regulations and industry codes Incorporates the Novo NordiskWay and 10 Essentials in all activities and interactions withothers IND23 Physical Requirements 0-10% overnight travel required.
The ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach,stand, and walk. The ability to push, pull, lift, finger, feel, andgrasp. The ability to speak, listen, and understand verbal andwritten communication. Repetition including substantial movement ofwrists, hands, and or fingers. Lifting up to 33lbs/15kg of forceoccasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or upto 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Visual acuity toperform close activities such as: reading, writing, and analyzing;and to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of workassigned or to make general observations. The working environmentincludes a variety of physical conditions including noise,vibration, inside and outside conditions including temperaturechanges, extreme cold, and extreme heat; proximity to movingmechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working onscaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure tochemicals. The working environment frequently includes closequarters and narrow aisles or passageways.
Qualifications Educationand Certifications:
High school diploma or equivalent withdemonstrated mechanical aptitude including troubleshooting, repair,or construction
Work Experience:
2 years transferable experience inmaintenance, repair, or production environment
Knowledge, Skills,and Abilities:
