JOB SUMMARY

Facilities/Maintenance technicianoperates and maintains facilities equipment including, but notlimited to, building controls, fire protection systems andheating-ventilation-and air-conditioning (HVAC).Facilities/Maintenance technicians are responsible for maintenance,operation and troubleshooting of utilities equipment, maintenanceof physical structure of establishment and various productionequipment. The Facilities/Maintenance technician performs, asneeded, maintenance service and repairs in the area of plumbing,carpentry, and painting. Plans, coordinates, inspects, and performsmaintenance and supports project management for facility relatedprojects, including but not limited to, building remodeling andconstruction, equipment installation and/or placement, safety andenvironmental compliance, mechanical systems maintenance, andenergy conservation.

LOCATIONThis role will be based on-site at ourClaremont, NH facility.

SHIFT Day shift hours with every otherFriday off! 9 hours a day Monday-Thursday, 8 hours on Friday andthen 9 hours Monday-Thursday with Friday off, etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIESAND

RESPONSIBILITIES-Perform general facility upkeep including butnot limited to the following: Replace light elements as they burn out Paint and repair drywall Build office equipment Move furniture for office relocations Perform building improvements as required

• Maintain and repairfacilities equipment including but not limited to the following: Air & water filter changes on various systems according to theschedule set in the Preventative Maintenance program as well asunscheduled changes as systems may dictate Problem-solving and repair of various in-house systems such asthe de-ionized water system, hot DI water loop, OM water system,wire EDM machines and their cooling systems, chemical lab equipmentand other production processes Problem-solving and repair of rooftop cooling/heating units,city water system and distribution in the building, variouselectrical systems, shop air compressor system, high-pressurenitrogen system, shop air cleaning system and chemical lab airhoods Assist in fabricating and assembling in-house processes andsystems such as the furnace cooling system, air system, and othervarious facility tasks•Maintain facility inventory and spare partsto include storage, repair and organizing of parts and hardware•Attend or complete all required safety training•Promote safety toall associates, contractors that enter the work area•Understandbuilding components effectively diagnose problems and repair in atimely manner with little or no direction•Perform facilitiesprojects with little supervision or direction•Identify creativesolutions while conforming to specifications and safetyrequirements•Assist staff with various facility or maintenancetasks as requested•Maintain facility equipment and building inhigh standard condition•Available to work overtime, available foremergency call-in and on call, weekend work as needed•Backup tothe custodian as needed•Performs other duties as assigned.

JOBQUALIFICATIONSKNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to read, analyze,and interpret general business periodicals, standard operatingprocedures, professional journals, technical procedures, andgovernment regulations
• Ability to effectively presentinformation and respond to questions from employees at alllevels
• Excellent communication and interpersonal relationskills

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply,and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, commonfractions, and decimals
• Capable to draw and interpretstatistical bar and line graphs
• Proficient in the use of allgeneral shop tools and power tools
• Must be able to function inteam environment and as independent contributor.

EDUCATION &EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED; anAssociate’s degree in a technical field, such as Refrigeration orHeating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning or Electrician isdesired
• 2-4+ years of experience in a facilities related role
• -Or equivalent education, experience, and/or training
