The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in maintenance and repair tasks, demonstrating proficiency in various trades. This role is essential for ensuring that properties are well-maintained and functional, providing high-quality service to our clients. Duties Perform general maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial properties. Conduct routine inspections to identify issues requiring attention. Utilize tools and equipment effectively, including an ohmmeter for electrical tasks. Handle plumbing repairs, including fixing leaks and installing fixtures. Execute minor carpentry work such as repairing doors, windows, and furniture. Address painting needs, both interior and exterior, ensuring a professional finish. Respond promptly to service requests and complete tasks efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Qualifications Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role with a strong portfolio of completed projects. 5 years experience in Maintenance or Handy man work Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance practices. Familiarity with using an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues independently. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients professionally. Ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing time effectively. A valid driver’s license may be required for travel between job sites.
