About the
Job:
Performs preventive maintenance in the repair, alteration and modification of buildings, equipment, and facilities.
What You’ll Do:
Performs a wide range of general maintenance duties in support of other Engineering department trades functions including change lights, reset breakers, clean, and install light panels, repair sockets and wiring.
Maintains proper technique for using all equipment associated with installation and maintenance of a wide variety of interior and exterior finishes, furnishings, fixtures, and equipment.
Sustains continuous medical gas supply by replacing tanks and re-ordering gases as required.
Upholds necessary skills for using all hand and power tools required in the course of performing the job. Work from ladders, staging and lifts as necessary.
Who You Are:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
At least one year’s general maintenance experience, hospital setting is preferred but not required.
General knowledge of first echelon maintenance and repair techniques
