Job Description
Facilities Rehab Technician Hodges Development Corporation 201 Loudon Road, Concord, NH 03301 Perform general repairs to the unit Complete minor plumbing and electrical work to ensure functionality and safety Repair or replace appliances, fixtures, and hardware as needed Ensure all work is performed to meet property standards and safety regulations Maintain an inventory of materials and request supplies as necessary Coordinate with property management to meet turnover timelines Document completed work and report any major issues or delays Keep work areas clean and secure during and after tasks Assist with other maintenance tasks as directed by supervisors
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Prior experience in property maintenance is required Experience with snow removal and on-call tasks is beneficial
Skills and Qualifications:
Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high property standards Knowledge of hand and power tools Physical stamina to perform both indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions Good communication and teamwork skills to interact with staff, tenants, and management Valid driver’s license required
Working Conditions:
Primarily indoor work working inside vacant units and preparing for unit turnover Frequent walking, bending, lifting, and manual labor Must be able to lift up to 50lbs frequently Frequent, repetitive climbing of stairs required throughout the day Full hand dexterity required for safe and effective use of tools and equipment Use of maintenance tools and equipment, which may involve noise and vibration Must be able to perform snow removal operations including physically shoveling snow Must be able to drive a vehicle during daytime or nighttime hours Ability to perform on-call functions which may include but not be limited to, being called in during sleeping hours, and performing maintenance tasks The Facilities Rehab Technician is responsible for performing comprehensive maintenance, repairs, and unit turnovers following resident move-outs. This role ensures that apartments are restored to move-in ready conditions through tasks such as plumbing upgrades, fixture refreshes, countertop installations, appliance servicing, and more. The technician plays a key role in maintaining quality standards and preparing units efficiently to support timely occupancy.
