Job Description
Golf Course Maintenance Mechanic 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Rye, NH 03870 Full-time mechanic wanted at Wentworth By The Sea Country Club. We are an 18-hole private golf course with a variety of equipment. Must have working knowledge of gas and diesel engines of all sizes. Golf course equipment-specific training is available for the right candidate.
Hours:
- 40 hours a week
- Monday through
Friday Responsibilities and Duties:
- Working closely with the superintendent to ensure all equipment is ready for the following day’s task
- Communicating with the superintendent about any broken equipment and the plan of action for repairing it
- Maintain a preventative maintenance program on all equipment
- Replace hydraulic lines
- Work on diesel, gas, and electrical equipment
- Ability to use common mechanical tools
- Ability to move heavy objects
Qualifications:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to learn
- Ability to adapt and switch focus
