The ideal candidate should possess a broad set of hands-on skills and a strong work ethic, with proven experience in general maintenance and repair tasks, including but not limited to painting, drywall, carpentry, flooring, basic electrical and lighting systems, plumbing, and HVAC.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and building repairs, including in tenant spaces and common areas Ensure preventative maintenance of all electrical, plumbing and mechanical equipment Diagnose and repair/troubleshoot issues related to electrical, plumbing and/or HVAC Respond to work orders promptly and professionally Preparation of office spaces for tenant occupancy Communicate courteously with tenants, staff, and vendors Adhere to safety standards and local building codes Must be able to stoop, stand, climb, and frequently lift and move items weighing more than 50 lbs. Ensuring the common spaces and walkways are clear and dry during inclement weather and safety precautions are in place Occasional ordering and pickup of supplies from supply houses Notifying management office of any repair issues needed Winterization in the Fall and startup in the Spring of certain mechanical equipment

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in building maintenance, preferably commercial Knowledge of HVAC systems and general construction Must have own tools Valid driver’s license required Strong problem-solving ability and the capacity to work independently Positive attitude and dedication to delivering quality and pride in workmanship
