Property Maintenance Technician Marlow Park LLC 80 Greenwood Avenue, Midland Park, NJ 07432 Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of facilities through routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot various systems, including electrical and plumbing. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient environment for all occupants as well as responding quickly to tenant concerns. Maintaining the grounds and landscaping is also required. Our portfolio consists of several large warehouses with multiple tenants, an office building, and a self-storage center. Responsibilities Perform regular inspections and maintenance of facilities to ensure HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire suppression. Operate and maintain logic controllers for automated systems. Execute small painting tasks to maintain aesthetic standards. Supervise contractors during projects or repairs. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Seek competitive bids for small construction projects and equipment replacement. Coordinate bids and contractor invoice with accounting. Assist management in showing vacant spaces to prospective tenants. Assist customers at self-storage reception desk on occassion. Maintain cleanliness of all outdoor areas. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance with a focus on HVAC systems. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various equipment. Familiarity with logic controllers and their operation is advantageous. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
