The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and experience in facilities maintenance. This role is essential for ensuring that our residential and commercial properties are well-maintained, safe, and functional. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and providing excellent customer service to our clients. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of facilities to ensure optimal operation. Perform residential painting and other cosmetic repairs as needed. Supervise maintenance staff during projects to ensure quality workmanship. Fabricate components or parts as required for repairs or installations. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions. Execute electrical repairs and installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Use an Ohmmeter and other tools to diagnose electrical issues effectively. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies. Driving and maintaining the sweeper truck, emptying exterior trash receptacles, gathering trash from exterior property and landscaping, etc. Skills Proficient in residential painting techniques and practices. Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively. Experience in fabricating parts or components for various applications. Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems. Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Experience in facilities maintenance, including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems. Welding skills are a plus for performing necessary repairs or fabrications. Familiarity with using an Ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics.
