You must also have a strong maintenance and construction skillset, including proficiency in electrical, plumbing, drywall, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities listed below are not all-encompassing. Other related duties may be assigned.
Carpentry:
Framing, installation of kitchen cabinetry, doors/jambs/hardware, trim, molding, etc.
Ceramic Tile Installation:
Cutting, laying, and grouting
Electric:
roughing in, moving electrical, installation and repair of light fixtures, switches, outlets, appliances, etc.
Plumbing:
roughing in, installation and repair of faucets, drains, traps, toilets, diverters, valves, appliances, domestic hot water heaters, etc.
Drywall:
installation and repair of sheetrock, spackling, sanding, caulking Works as part of a team to ensure on a weekly and monthly basis that all property vacancy and turns are being completed in accordance with company timelines and standards Responsible to adhere to all safety policies and operate machinery and tools as required Maintains professional and timely communications with residents Interacts pleasantly with residents Follows policies relating to but not limited to Fair Housing, OSHA, and Friedman Realty Group
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent 1 year’s general maintenance experience HVAC Certification a plus Ability to repair plumbing systems, electronic systems and all major appliances
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
