Full Job Description About Us:
TKO Suites provides ready-to-work private office suites and conference rooms with flexible terms, helping businesses thrive in prime locations. As we continue expanding, we’re looking for a skilled and reliable Full-Time Contractor to handle renovations, maintenance, and repairs across multiple locations.
MUST LIVE WITHIN 1 HOUR OF NYC
What You’ll Do:
You’ll be responsible for a variety of renovation and handyman tasks, ensuring our office spaces are in top shape. Projects range from large renovations to quick touch-ups, including:
Office Renovations & Repairs:
Painting, recarpeting, spackling, installing office doors, and laying new carpet tiles.
Building Maintenance & Handyman Work:
Fixing ceiling grids and tiles, patching walls, minor electrical and plumbing work, and general upkeep.
Client-Facing Responsibilities:
Ensuring work is completed efficiently, professionally, and with minimal disruption to our tenants. Must be presentable & pleasant!
Flexibility & Problem-Solving:
Ability to work weekends on larger projects, with time off during the week as needed. Not Required But a
Plus :
electrical experience & plumbing experience. The ability to project manage and source other specialty contractors and the ability to help manage larger jobs (full renovations if needed).
What You Bring:
Must have: Experience in renovations, carpentry, painting, and general handyman work. Ability to work independently and efficiently—no slacking! Basic tools & understanding on how to use them (cutting tools, painting & drywall tools, power tools, basic plumbing & electrical tools, etc) Strong communication skills and professional appearance (client-facing role). Flexibility to travel (with travel paid by TKO). Experience working as a 1099 contractor (with an LLC – highly preferred but not required)
