We’re on the lookout for a reliable, skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team and care for two of our beautiful residential communities in Caldwell, NJ. This LIVE IN position includes a comfortable on-site apartment and shared on-call responsibilities every other week—perfect for someone who values stability and is ready to be a key part of our community.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Tackling Service Requests:

You’ll jump in to resolve resident work orders—whether it’s a leaky faucet or a faulty outlet—quickly and professionally. Fixing What’s Broken (and Preventing What’s Not): HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry—you’ll do it all, while keeping safety front and center.

Keeping Things Running Smoothly:

From regular inspections to make-readies, you’ll help ensure every unit is safe, clean, and move-in ready on schedule.

Pitching In After Hours:

You’ll join the on-call rotation approximately every other week to respond to after-hours emergencies. What You Bring to the

Table:

Solid experience (3-5 years) in apartment or property maintenance Know-how in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry (HVAC certification is a plus!) A clear communicator who respects timelines and teamwork Able to prioritize, pivot, and stay organized between two sites Takes pride in quality work and cares about doing it right Valid driver’s license and transportation Physically able to lift, climb, and complete hands-on repair tasks
