The Floor Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and clean environment for all occupants. Responsibilities Perform routine floor care tasks, including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing various types of flooring. Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate techniques and equipment to maintain cleanliness and appearance. Ensure all areas are cleaned according to established standards, including environmental services and custodial duties. Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any needs or issues to management. Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and operating machinery. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery. Maintain accurate records of work performed and any maintenance issues encountered. Skills Proficient in buffing techniques and floor care practices. Experience with carpet cleaning methods and equipment. Knowledge of environmental services standards and custodial best practices. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness. Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and clients.
