Maintenance Technician – Fortune 500 Company GGL Solutions Kearny, NJ 07032 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in a manufacturing environment and be proficient in various technical skills. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing site and equipment, contributing to overall efficiency and safety. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal performance. Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical to resolve problems effectively. Execute welding and fabrication tasks including stick welding as needed for repairs and modifications. Collaborate with other technicians and departments to analyze operational needs and improve processes. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Adhere to safety protocols while working with high voltage equipment and in various industrial settings. Skills Proficient in mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems. Experience as an industrial electrician with a strong grasp of electrical systems. Strong welding and fabrication experience. Ability to analyze problems critically and develop effective solutions. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration within the team. Experience in field service roles is advantageous for addressing on-site maintenance needs. Familiarity with high voltage systems is preferred but not mandatory.
