Electro Mechanical Maintenance Technician Job Description Join our team as a skilled Maintenance Mechanic on the 3rd shift, focusing primarily on electrical work with some mechanical tasks. You will ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment, requiring a strong understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. Perform emergency troubleshooting and repairs when breakdowns occur. Replace or repair defective parts using hand tools and machinery. Test fixed machinery to ensure proper performance. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area. Document repair and maintenance work for record-keeping purposes. Recommend improvements or modifications to enhance system performance. Essential Skills Troubleshooting skills. Experience as a maintenance technician. Mechanical repair and preventive maintenance expertise. Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics. Experience with industrial machinery. Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLCs. Bilingual abilities in Spanish. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience as a maintenance mechanic or similar role. Strong understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanics. Familiarity with using various power and hand tools. Ability to stand for long hours and lift heavy loads. Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. Degree in engineering or manufacturing is a plus. A valid driver’s license is preferred. Why Work Here?
