Seasonal Building Maintenance DSN Beach Club 123-125 Ocean Avenue, Deal, NJ 07723 Job description Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team for the Spring and Summer . The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of maintenance and repair skills, demonstrating a strong work ethic and attention to detail. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained, functional, and safe for all occupants. Duties Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical repairs, carpentry, and painting. Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify issues or necessary repairs. Utilize tools and equipment effectively, including the use of an Ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools are stored properly after use. Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects efficiently and effectively. Document completed work and any issues that arise during repairs for future reference. Qualifications Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role with a strong understanding of maintenance procedures. Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Familiarity with electrical systems, plumbing systems, and general construction practices. Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints as needed for various tasks. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise. Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and management effectively. A valid driver’s license may be required based on job responsibilities.
