Facilities Maintenance Mechanic III Aboutthe Role Marotta Controls is seeking a skilled FacilitiesMaintenance Technician to join our team. This critical role isresponsible for the preventative maintenance and repair of allfacility infrastructure, production-related systems, and equipment.
You’ll play a key part in supporting the company’s operationalgoals and ensuring the functionality and safety of our workingenvironment. This hands-on position requires a proactive andcollaborative approach, working closely with internal teams andexternal vendors to complete repairs, improvements, and specialprojects on time and to standard. Key Responsibilities
- Inspectfacilities to identify malfunctions, damages, and areas needingrepair.
- Perform general electrical maintenance: troubleshoot,install, and repair fixtures, switches, outlets, and wiring.
- Conduct plumbing repairs: fix leaks, install low-pressure lines,and work with contractors on complex issues.
- Fabricate andinstall HP gas and water lines, perform surface prep, painting,carpentry, and masonry work.
- Maintain HVAC systems, includingtroubleshooting and performing routine PM.
- Use specialized toolsincluding volt meters, hydrometers, amp probes, grinders, drills,and bending tools.
- Support internal moves, reconfigurations, andlight construction projects.
- Coordinate with vendors andcontractors for work order and project support.
- Follow andenforce all safety protocols and company policies.
- Participate inseasonal snow removal and facility-related off-hour tasks. WhatWe’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED required; technicalcertification or trade school preferred.
- 5-7 years of experiencein mechanical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturingenvironment.
- Working knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, andfabrication tools and techniques.
- Proficient in readingblueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Excellentproblem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to lift/move items up to 40 lbs, stand/walk for longperiods, and perform physical labor.
- Comfortable working invarious environments: office, shop floor, and outdoors.
- Validdriver’s license and US citizenship required.
- Forklift andScissor Lift certification required (or ability to obtain).
- Basiccomputer skills (MS Office Suite). Work Environment & PhysicalDemands
- Regular exposure to noise, fumes, fluids, and movingparts.
- Work across indoor office settings andmanufacturing/machine shop environments.
- Work may involvetemperature variations and physical exertion including snowshoveling.
- Travel may be required (5-10%).

Pay Range:
$35.50
