This role is critical to maintaining the functionality of our foundry equipment, including wax press machines, pouring pots, autoclaves, and wash-out cabinets. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on foundry equipment: Wax Press Machines, Pouring Pots, Autoclaves, and Wash-out cabinets Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues. Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. Respond to equipment failures and perform emergency repairs as needed. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and part usage. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company maintenance protocols. Assist in managing parts and tools inventory. Collaborate with management to develop and improve maintenance schedules and strategies. Maintain a clean and organized work area and tool station. Qualifications 6-10 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a foundry environment. Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective time management and task prioritization. Knowledge of safety practices in an industrial setting. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications preferred. Must be available for 2nd shift work and occasional overtime. Physical Requirements Ability to work in manufacturing conditions (e.g., heat, noise, confined spaces). Capable of lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand, bend, and work in various positions for extended periods.
