The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience working in a manufacturing facility. This role requires proficiency in operating and maintaining various machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. The Machine Technician will play a critical role in supporting production processes and enhancing overall efficiency. Responsibilities Repairing metal fabrication machinery, could be anything from pizza ovens to duct making machines. Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of customer machines. Performs a variety of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical functions. Researches and complies with all manufacturing requirements when performing work. Provides exceptional customer service by communicating clearly and professionally with customers and offering an excellent customer experience. Comply with safety regulations. Troubleshoots and diagnoses problems, replaces or repairs parts, tests, and adjusts machines and components. Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform installations, maintenance, and services. Performs all required paperwork as directed by the management team in a complete and professional manner. Maintains a functional, clean company vehicle and ensures timely auto maintenance and repairs. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties. They are repairing metal fabrication machinery, could be anything from pizza ovens to duct making machines. Lots of sitting and driving. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Valid Drivers License. Clean Driving record. Travels to customers’ location to perform (1) emergency, unscheduled repairs, and installations and (2) regular scheduled maintenance and repairs of customer machines. In company vehicle. Experience Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential for effective communication within the team. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to trace wiring diagrams Previous Machine Maintenance experience Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
