Apartment Turnover Technician Job Summary :

Apartment Turnover Technician needed in to support our Heritage Village Apartment Community. Primarily responsible, under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Foreman for all aspects of the apartment turnover and make ready process.

Starting at $20/Hour, depending upon experience (Non-exempt; eligible for over time)

Job Responsibilities:

§ Responsible to perform necessary maintenance in turnover apartments per the attached turnover mechanical punch list including but not limited to: § Sheetrock repairs § Repainting of units § Support cleaner as needed § Inspect/test all outlets & fixtures § Inspect/test all appliances § Inspect/test all locks § Inspect/test all plumbing fixtures § Inspect/check heat/A.C § Support the completion of daily work order requests from occupied apartments § Support refuse management at mid-rise and townhouse apartments § Support snow removal when needed § Inspection of all mechanicals in the apartments and notify superintendent with issues or concerns. § Support the on-call rotation & overtime as needed Any other related duties as requested by supervisory council and management. The responsibilities listed above are by no means all inclusive and can be modified as the supervisory & management team deem fit.

Essential Job Functions:

Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds and negotiate stairs and ladders easily. Demonstrate an ability to support and contribute to community team. Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills. Must possess a positive attitude and the ability to smile under all circumstances. Participate in training in order to comply with new or existing laws. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. Two (2) years experience in previous relevant field. Neat, clean, professional at all times throughout the workday and/or whenever present at the community. Comply with expectations as demonstrated in the employee handbook. Demonstrate ability to diffuse and respond to customer concerns to avoid escalation of the problem.
