Role:

As our Facility Maintenance Professional , you won’t just maintain our buildings — you’ll ensure the long-term functionality, safety, and performance of multiple high-traffic automotive facilities. You will be trusted with complex systems, relied on for high-level troubleshooting, and expected to anticipate issues before they arise.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Execute and continually improve a robust preventative maintenance program across all sites, including: Full service, inspection, and mechanical upkeep of all garage doors, man doors, and loading areas . Diagnosis and coordination of advanced repairs on Hunter alignment and tire equipment , floor machines, and specialty shop tools. Oversee commercial car wash maintenance , including curtain changes, lubrication, fluid refills, and drain cleaning. Maintain all plumbing-related infrastructure , including line jetting, trench drain clearing, and trap servicing. Manage seasonal facility prep , including speed bump repair, ice melt and shoveling operations. Provide logistical support to all locations with timely supply delivery and inventory coordination. Serve as a key resource for emergency repairs and critical system troubleshooting . Collaborate with department heads and external vendors to ensure all projects are completed to professional standards.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5+ years of hands-on facility maintenance or building engineering experience, preferably in automotive, commercial, or industrial settings. Deep working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC systems . Ability to manage multiple facilities and prioritize urgent requests with minimal supervision. Professional communication skills and a problem-solving mindset. Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all conditions, including physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, and kneeling. Valid, clean New York State Driver’s License required.
