Maintenance Technician Position Available In Albany, New York

Maintenance Technician 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars Albany, NY 12206 This position will start out as a non-benefit eligible position working up to 40 hours per week. However, there is potential for this position to become benefit eligible.

Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent and NYS driver’s license required Must have knowledge and some experience in all areas of building maintenance, which includes (but not limited to) sheet rock repair, light electrical, light plumbing, light carpentry and painting. Proven experience is preferred but willing to train the right candidate Possess the ability to work independently and to occasionally direct a small crew to perform tasks Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. General passion for creative problem-solving and working with individuals.

Maintenance Technician Duties Include:

Travel throughout the Capital Region to perform building maintenance at multiple locations using agency vehicle and tools. Order and purchase maintenance related supplies Maintain all records as requested Maintain courteous, tactful and professional relationship with vendors, other service providers, clients, etc. Meet with landlords to determine repair responsibility and schedule Complete work orders in a timely manner Comply with all workplace policies & procedures Attend/participate in any/all required trainings related to the responsibilities of the position Performs duties assigned by the immediate supervisor or other management staff, as required #HP123
