Position Summary The Maintenance Technicianworks in a team environment performing equipment repair,installations, and preventative maintenance according to service,quality, and safety standards. Responsible for general upkeep ofmanufacturing equipment and facility while maintaining a cleanworkspace. May also assist with various facility projects,including providing input on layouts and/or working with orassisting contractors to complete complex projects/repairs. Dutiesand Responsibilities Diagnoses and repairs mechanical, electricaland other physical structures, including furnace vacuum systems,with or without schematic or manual. Offers solution(s) toappropriate personnel. Troubleshoot challenging manufacturingequipment or facility issues, recommending temporary and/orpermanent solutions to appropriate personnel. Perform facility andenvironmental health and safety (EHS) related maintenance taskssuch as building and replacing work-stations, shelving, lightbulbs,painting, simple plumbing, identification of and/or marking, tapingof safety items/areas, etc. Follows and supports all safetyprotocols, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) at all times for tasks and in areas where mandatory. Performsscheduled internal and external preventative maintenance tasks,such as mechanical maintenance items, changing fluids (e.g.surfactants, coolants, lubricants), filters, etc. Recordsproduction, repair, and maintenance tasks in appropriate computersystem. Ensures tools and equipment are maintained and repaired.

May train and mentor incoming department personnel and maintenanceassociates on processes and procedures. Recognizes and performsunassigned tasks (e.g. general cleanliness and other 5S tasks,procures supplies, disposes of empty containers, etc.). Performsother duties as assigned, including providing backup support forhigh-end production operations, such as operation of productionfurnaces, leak test support, cable assembly, etc. All qualifiedapplicants will receive consideration for employment without regardto race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity,national origin, disability, status as a protected veteran, or anyother legally protected status. Requirements Associate’s degree inindustrial technologies or other technical degree required.

Advanced degree, training, or certification(s) preferred. Minimumof two years of experience working in a manufacturing environmentrequired. Intermediate knowledge of vacuum systems, machine repair,electrical, pipefitting, plumbing, and general maintenance. Abilityto receive and provide verbal and written instruction. Team skills,including ability to work independently, in teams, and collaboratewith others. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Access or relatedsoftware. Basic understanding of AutoCAD and SolidWorks or relatedsoftware. Demonstrated math, computer, and time-management skills.

Ability to self-direct work, completing projects within definedtime frames. Ability to use hand tools and power tools. Ability toread blueprints, schematics, building plans, and repair manuals.

Familiar with applicable Occupational Safety and HealthAdministration (OSHA) standards. Ability to adapt to changingdemands. Annualized Salary:

$52,000•$72,800per year ($25•35 per hour)
